I had to erase all my music b/c of a virus. Will Apple help me get it back without buying the songs

about a month ago, my computer got a virus and we had to delete all my itunes and i had about 330 songs on it. now i dont have any and my computer is repaired, and i was just wondering, can i somehow get my music back without buying each song all over again? and please dont suggest limewire or any other free music downloading system, b/c that's what gave my computer the virus.

p.s.- if it helps, i got my ipod last year for christmas.

Here's the link that you need to contact Apple about this problem: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/stor...

Scroll all the way down to the ''Contact'' section. I hear that they will allow you to re-download your music in such cases, but I also hear this is a one-time thing. They also give you tips on backing up your iTunes library so this won't happen again.

Are the songs still on your ipod?

Dont sync it. Unsync that ipod (it should give you that option when you are changing a lot of music from it)

Then if the songs were all purchased all you have to do is right click your ipods name and click transfer purchases.
i dont think so but u could call apple
This is exacty what happened to me.

I never really did call them to tell them the situation although that would probably be your best bet.

I had backed up some of my songs previous to the virus on the computer, and that's how I got some of my songs back, but for the ones I had recently boughten, they were gone, although I'm sure there's some way to get them back.

Good Luck.

:]
