Internet Connection problems? And other.?

I got a Windows Vista (Vostro 200) 5 months ago. I haven't had any other problems with it until now. I was playing a game a few games ago and my internet connection just went off completely. I tried every program I could, and nothing seemed to repair it...

A day later I restarted my computer and it came first to the logo screen, then it went to the next screen and said "Diskette drive 0 seek failure". Any solutions to repair my computer, and does it have anything to do with my drivers?

This doesn't have anything to do with the drivers, but it could be a few things. The error generally is caused by an incorrectly configured drive OR the drive's ribbon cable is loose or plugged in incorrectly (you didn't happen to bash the thing when your connection stopped working did you? :) Speaking from experience, I hit mine once and it screwed up my processor fan).

The first thing I would do would be to check the BIOS to verify that your PC is picking up all the drives you've got connected. If you've verified that they're all connected properly, you could do a lot of different things depending upon your system configuration and who the manufacturer of your PC is. This link should give you some more direction if you need it (far more professional that myself and more knowledgable on the matter):
