My computer won`t allow me to do any DOWNLOADING, it won`t open INTERNET OPTION so that I can make adjustments, there are other things that gets blocked, but I think that if I can get DOWNLOADS, I`ll find the tools to repair the problems.......''HELP-PLEASE''

Check your computer for viruses. You may have one which is preventing you from doing sorts of things like that. Also, you can try putting in your windows cd and repairing the os, because internet explorer is integrated into windows. However, I would do a virus scan first.

what ie version? If you got IE7 uninstall it from the w section of add/remove programs. Ie 6 wiil appear.

You will not lose favourites

if its IE6 you can unistall that in windows components

boot up and install it again. You may need the xp disks.

also can download firefox as a file on someone else computer and install that to get on the net.

Install ie7 again by doing windows custom update
