I am recently unemployed.?

I have 15 years experience buiding/troubleshooting and repairing computers! I don't have a degree or formal training. Is there anywhere I can find a job using what skills I have learned to gain employment?

Of course, I'm actually in the same boat, and I've found several interesting jobs on careerbuilder.com that I'm applying to.

Most people nowadays require A+ certification and sometimes net+ but you can always find some that don't. You should consider going after these certs though, they aren't that hard for someone of your experience and relatively inexpensive.

If you are close to a metro area, there will be a ton of subcontracting opportunites. I would look into the IT staffing agencies in your area.

Do a search on monster or careerbuilder.

Also, craigslist.org always has computer gigs listed.

I personally could use your expertiese on my companies Yahoo group.

It could be a place where you could highlight your qualifications, or work with potential employers and clients.

It is a new group and needs support.

Or you can always start-up your own computer repair business. Sure everyone with pc, sooner or later will be needing your help so why not make a profit out of it. Build a small clientelle and then expand.
